Cele mobilności grupowej:

  1. Rozwijanie umiejętności cyfrowych, digitalizacja zdjęć i dokumentów, fotografia mobilna.
  2. Pogłębianie wiedzy na temat Unii Europejskiej i jej wartości oraz wzmacnianie tożsamości europejskiej.
  3. Podnoszenie poziomu znajomości języka angielskiego.

Monday
Arrival in Brindisi – sightseeing Transfer to Galatone – pick-up at around 3 PM
Tuesday
Visit to Otranto Cathedral - Cultural immersion and digital activities Eastern Italian point - Light tower of “Punta palacia” Summary of the day - workshops in English
Wednesday
“La Nova” Monastery - How to turn a historic building into a digital learning centre - lecture, presentation, visiting Mediterranean diet introduction, common preparing pasta, show cooking, shared meals Nardò - City - Museum Summary of the day - workshops in English
Thursday
Lecce - city learning walk to discover the cultural and architectural heritage of Lecce through direct observation. Visit to MUST: - to learn about the history and cultural heritage of Lecce and the Salento region - to explore how digital technologies can support access to and understanding of cultural heritage
Friday
Visit in Gallipoli -  the challenge game in English
Evening Pizzica dance - traditional Italian dance workshop and farewell
Saturday
Departure for Brindisi in the morning

Otranto - A Town by the Sea

Otranto – A Town by the Sea Otranto is a very old town in southern Italy. It is in Puglia, on the Adriatic Sea. For many centuries, its port was an important place for trade. Ships brought people, goods and new ideas. Otranto became a meeting place for different cultures. During the Middle Ages, the Byzantines ruled the town. Later, the Normans arrived. These different cultures helped shape Otranto and its buildings.  In 1480, an Ottoman army attacked Otranto. Many people died, and the town was badly damaged. In 1481, an army led by Alfonso of Aragon took the town back. Later, people rebuilt the castle and the town walls to protect Otranto.  Otranto Cathedral – A Church with Many Stories The cathedral is called Santa Maria Annunziata.
